We go to this beach every summer! There are signs around that explain what it is and that it’s illegal to remove. There are very stiff fines if you are caught with it

White/cream color + rounded gravel + beach setting = biological carbonate. On Fuerteventura it’s mostly broken shells, coralline algae, and forams, slowly rounded by wave action.
